What is H-fiber and what are its characteristics?

H-fiber is an ultra-dense aramid fiber with an extremely high modulus.

When used in a blade, it acts as a speed booster: the more power you apply, the clearer and more exhilarating the feeling becomes. It pushes speed to a higher level while still blending in control, so the blade reaches an elite balance of hardness and flexibility.

In DHS’s new H-fiber blades the fiber is positioned as an inner layer. For every playing style—from quick attack to loop-drive—the lay-up is a constant balancing act between hardness and flexibility until the optimal solution is found.

DHS 301H 5+2 inner-H construction: five wood plies plus two inner ultra-high-modulus aramid fibers; ≈ 5.8 mm thick.

Face: dyed koto—relatively hard. Combined with the thin aramid-carbon layer it produces a unique “tough-yet-cottony” touch at impact.

Overall stiffness is higher than HL5-H, demands less effort from the player; ideal for developing enthusiasts.
